I, he who writes the words you read, write them because I love the game of golf but rarely like to read about it. You pick up a paper and what does it give you, a few scores perhaps and maybe that the leader got birdie on the 8th, 12th and 14th and a bogey on the last and then it gives you the interview they gave on the telly which you saw the night before. It’s pretty rubbish. So I thought I’d have a bash at writing my own little Golf journal where I hope to bring you good analysis of what occured in recent tournaments, the odd profile on some of the leading golfers, as many interesting stats as I can dig up, a look at the odds for upcoming tournaments and any other interesting features I can think of in the mean time.
